Foggy

My last cup of coffee was Sunday. This makes it difficult to rule out my headache’s causes: it can either be caffeine withdrawal or Covid-19. Fortunately I recovered really fast: I only lost my sense of taste and smell completely for a half-day, now it’s just a little bit impaired – weak at worst, inaccurate at best. General weakness is gone and my body longs to sweat and lift something heavy. The only discomforting feeling is that ‘brain fog’ that I’ve been reading and learning from first-hand stories: there are those moments where just standing up would make my senses spin and disorient me, or times when I end up in front of the fridge only to ask myself what should I be getting? It’s like my head is a lagging computer, slow to respond or to calculate balance or gravity.
